2009 Ashokan Civil War Days. Held at the Ashokan Center in Olivebridge NY on May 23 & 24. Featuring authentic Union & Confederate Civil War camps, period craftspeople, and period music. Highlighted by performances by the 77th NY Regimental Balladeers, Kim & Reggie Harris, and Jay Unger & Molly Mason. The Ashokan Center is the inspiration for the song "Ashokan Farewell", the theme used in Ken Burns' PBS documentary "The Civil War".
